Integrated Building Materials Company Byucksan(CEO Sungshik Kim, 007210) won the Presidential Bronze Prize today, November 13, at the 45th NQMC held at COEX in Samseong-dong.
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Standards Association, NQMC has been awarding commendations to companies and individuals since 1975, who have contributed to enhancing the competitiveness of the national industry through quality management activities such as quality innovation, cost reduction, and productivity improvement in the manufacturing and service industry.
Eumseong Plant Group, the Byucksan BACE Division, achieved recognition in improvement activities to improve the operating rate, quality product rate, and waste reduction through self-preservation (daily management) activities of facilities based on the theme of ‘Integrating the Overall Efficiency of Facilities through FUN TPM Activities.’
In response, Byucksan CEO Sungshik Kim said, “I would like to thank not only the Eumseong Plant, which won this award, but also all the employees who are doing their best today for quality innovation at each workplace. In the future, all executives and employees will continue to take a new leap forward through continuous innovation activities with one mind.”
Meanwhile, the BACE Panel of Byucksan is an Eco-friendly Non-Asbestos Extrusion Molding Cement Panel, with Best Green Building Material Certificate, KS Certificate, Carbon Emissions Environmental Performance Labeling Certificate and excellent noninflammability to prevent spread of fire. The BACE panel, which is being used for various purposes, including intelligent buildings such as exterior walls, inner walls, partitions, etc. of buildings and reflective sound absorption panels of railways, can vary the surface of the panels depending on the exterior of the building, completing the appearance of the urban and sophisticated buildings.
