Integrated Building Materials Company Byucksan(CEO Sungshik Kim) said on October 30th that it has signed a MOU with Korea Testing & Research Institute(KTR)(Director Jongrip Byun, referred to as KTR) an international authorized testing and certification agency representing Korea.
Based on the agreement, Byucksan and KTR will carry out mutual cooperation activities in areas such as technical cooperation in fire safety testing and evaluation work, as well as a consortium for joint research of new products and new technologies, support for development of new technologies among agencies, and cooperation in joint utilization of research facilities.
Through this, Byucksan is expected to secure objective research data on building materials while conducting a joint research and cooperation with building materials research institutes and to lay the foundation for a wide range of research and development in the construction materials industry.
Byucksan CEO Sungshik Kim said, "With this agreement, we will make all-out efforts for mutual development, including enhancing technology in the construction materials industry and conducting research, through joint research and cooperation with KTR. This could serve as an opportunity to take a leap forward as we continue to develop diverse research and development in the rapidly changing construction materials market.”
